A designer diffuser is selected. A bespoke fragrance object is designed. That distinction matters. In a considered interior, every material, proportion and detail has usually been carefully chosen. Yet fragrance is often introduced through a generic home fragrance product that was never designed for the space.

The object itself becomes part of the design language of the interior. Material, proportion, texture and form are considered alongside the scent and the space. It could be hand-blown glass, ceramic, stone, brass or another material chosen specifically for the project.

It is created for one space. The fragrance is not selected from an existing collection. Every Studio Scentior object commission begins with the space. We first explore the interior, its architecture, materials, proportions, atmosphere and the role the object needs to play within it. From there, the scent and object are developed together, rather than designing one and adding the other afterwards.

The form, material and fragrance are refined alongside one another until they become one cohesive piece.

The result is a bespoke home fragrance object created specifically for its environment: part fragrance, part sculpture, part interior element.
